The secret to keeping your wine fresh is Argon gas. Argon gas is completely inert, stable and resistant to bonding with other elements. Argon is 2.5 times heavier than oxygen. When inserted into your wine bottle, the much denser Argon lays directly on the surface of the wine creating a barrier between the oxygen and the surface of your wine. Every time you dispense wine from your Wine Saver HOME , more Argon gas is inserted to create an even thicker protective barrier.
