Marquis by Waterford is joining the stem-less wine glass revolution with this Wine to Go set added in 2005 to its Vintage collection. Nicely rounded to fit comfortably in the hand, the glasses are designed to best suit lighter red wines, such as Pinot Noir, Chianti, and Burgundy. Measuring 4 inches tall and 3-3/4 inches in diameter, each glass features a generous girth for letting the wine breathe and a shorter height than the similar Vintage glasses for deeper red wines. Clean, modern lines are the hallmark of the Vintage Entertaining Collection that includes stemware, decanters, and barware. Made in Austria, the Wine to Go glasses feel light and delicate yet are safe for the dishwasher. However, washing by hand will help prevent dulling of the surface over time. Stem-less has become popular because it means less breakage to worry about and more compact storage, whether in a dishwasher, picnic basket, or cabinet.
