The carol's lyrics accompany the images in charming, old-fashioned script, while garlands of ivy curve around the edges, rims, and feet for an abundant finish. This elegantly shaped covered vegetable bowl offers a graceful presence at the table while it keeps roasted yams or garlic green beans warm. Wrong picture. I ordered it and it came without handles and was less rounded. I didn't want to pay for shipping on the return, so I had to keep it.

This is absolutely wonderful pottery! I have Wedgewood China and Portmeirion is the next best thing. The colors are wonderful and vibrant. These dishes are very sturdy and go right in the dishwasher. No problems at all! I thoroughly recommend you to purchase the Portmerion.
