4 out of 5 stars you need strong hands to put the cap on too   December 4, 2008
Stefan Grunspan (milky way)
my child loves this cup. It is easy to hold and it never leaks. Unfortunately, the previous reviews are correct, you need fairly strong hands to remove the cap. You also need fairly strong hands to put the cap back on. Since this cup doesn't have a screw-down seal, you really need to get the cap completely seated on the cup for a proper seal. I would guess some of the leaking problems are caused by this.

One more thing, the name no-spill isn't totally clear. If this cup tips over, fluid won't come gushing out. Either nothing will spill or one or two drops will come out. However, if your child turns it upside down and shakes it, fluid will come out (though slowly). Similarly, if you put this in a diaper bag and it gets squeezed or turned upside down it will also leak. It doesn't have cap like the born free sippy cups.

3 out of 5 stars boon toddler cup   October 2, 2008

I really like that the cup is bpa free. My daughter likes holding the cup and it is a great design. Although the cup is not spill-proof, my daughter likes to hold the cup upsidedown and watch the milk drip out of it. other than that the cup is great

5 out of 5 stars a great sippy!   September 30, 2008

I just received this cup in the mail. I ordered it because i thought it looked great and it got such mixed reviews i thought i'd give it a try, especially since it's the cheapest sippy i had seen. it works amazing! i gave it to my 6 month old (it's also her first) even though it's recommended for 9 months and up and she took to it right away. it is a little big for her hands but still manageable. it does leak but not a lot. it's about the same amount of leaking as if i had put one of her bottles upside down. people also complained about it being hard to remove the top but if you look carefully there is a part of the plastic (on the side that says 'boon') that juts out a little. just remove the lid by pulling it from under that side. simple! the inside is going to be hard to clean since it's a round shape so i'd recommend cleaning it often and maybe soaking it in warm soapy water. i love it and i hope others will give it a try, too. not to mention it's bpa, pthalate and pvc free!

1 out of 5 stars Definitely NOT no-spill   September 30, 2008

I bought two thinking it would be fun and great for my daughter. It is confusing for the little one to know
which side she has to hold it from to drink and drips like a very bad leaky faucet no matter which way you hold it.

2 out of 5 stars Sippy cup? Pshhh!   August 29, 2008

The design/shape? Very cute!

Colors? Love them!

But it leaks more like a water bottle! It says for 9+ months, I would have NEVER gave it to my 9 month old, my son is 18 months old, and I am taking it away for a bit, unless it's just water! It continuously drips.
