Lip too shallow, so you can't fill pitcher and pour without spilling, and even half full, you have to pour very carefully. I hate to throw out plastic, so I'm using it for a dipper for bird seed.

This is a nice pitcher. However, the lip on the lid is shallow and you cannot turn to close off the spout hole. Sothe spout hole is always open and circulating air in fridge has access. However, the lid goes down far enough to strain out ice cubes.
Still, nice polycarbonate pitcher for the price
