These glasses are super sturdy! BUT I found the 22 ounce glasses at Walmart for only a dollar each. It pays to shop around.

These glasses are great! They are the perfect size and are a heavy good quality product. The glass is thick, not the thin fragile glass. When holding these glasses you know something is in your hand! Love them.

These glasses are great if you're looking for something heavy duty. I use them in my cafe and so far they've held up great. They're not totally unbreakable, but you have to give them a pretty good whack to chip the rims and they can break if knocked off a counter. We've had several knocked off tables that have survived, but they don't particularly like being dropped from something counter height.

These are extremely durable glasses as others have already noted. They are heavy and thick. If you were to drop one on the floor, your first concerns would be about your tile and getting your feet out of the way, rather than worrying about the glass. As for the dishwasher, these can be a problem with older machines. They are tall and have a slightly larger diameter rim than other tumblers with similar capacities. This is partially because of the size, but mostly because of the VERY heavy duty construction.
Pricing: These, and other genuine Libbey glasses, are almost always available at dollar stores. We have purchased several in this style with different sizes; most are this size. Regardless, they are there, and they are inexpensive. Be sure to look for the cursive "L" on the bottom or "Libbey". They sometimes have similar glasses that scratch easily, are far less clear, and generally do not hold up as well.
Our glasses still look exceptional after many years of use. We also get people asking where we got them and commenting on how "industrial" they are. If your local dollar store does not have these, they are still well worth the price, especially with free shipping.

These glasses are large, and have thick glass. They will not easily break. We were replacing some glasses that were thin glass, and broke when they turned over in the dishwasher. These glasses will not do that. We are thrilled with them. They will not chip easily, because of the thick rim.
