This is a very useful set for anyone who likes to bring food to a party. Use the inserts and mini bowl to create a portable crudite platter. This works well for pot lucks and summer dinners at the park. The food stays the right temperature during transport and it is easy to carry. The style is nice enough to display. The separators make it even more versatile.

The large glass bowl is much prettier than in the picture. It makes an elegant serving dish. It has a gentle groove pattern all around the outside that is still easy to clean. The large bowl is a good size for a salad for 12 or more persons.
The small bowl is plainer, but is practical for holding salsa, cocktail sauce, or other dips. Both bowls come with snug lids that have not leaked yet during trips to potluck parties.
The set also comes with a removable plastic piece that can be used to divide the large bowl into quadrants. I have never used that divider piece.
The insulated case, along with the cold ice-substitute pack, is adequate for car trips of at least 2 hours. I have had a little difficulty with the zipper on my case, but I am still pleased with the set; I thought it was a good deal for the price.
