The set consists of eight tall, 16-ounce cooler glasses and eight short, 12-ounce rocks glasses in Libbey's contemporary cut-glass Summit pattern. Made of exceptionally thick glass, the glasses have four-sided, heavy bases and many facets that catch the light for a sparkling party. The 6-3/4-inch cooler glasses measure 3-1/8 inches in diameter at the tops and 3 inches in diameter at the bottoms. Sturdy glassware at a bargain price. April 6, 2007

I am extremely satisfied with this set. It has 16 pieces. The glass is very sturdy. The glasses have a sturdy base. They look great. I nice addition to a home bar for someone who wants to save money, yet get a nice looking set.

Absolutely great set - have had this set for over a year and only broke one glass when it was dropped in the sink. The glasses have not even chipped given the amount of abuse they endure being used and dishwashed. Will definitely buy this set again.

I spent DAYs on-line and in person searching for stylish, non-fragile, heavy bottom weighted glasses in two sizes. And I finally found them here. They are absolutely fantastic because the bottoms are so heavy they are nearly spill-proof, the edges are substantial enough not to chip with just a whisper, and the size is perfect for them all to fit into my cabinet. My husband and children are spillers from a long line of spillers. It happenes because their thoughts are always circling back to something more important than where they just sat their drink. Heavy bottom glassware is an imperative at our house. But usually heavy bottomed glassware is large and cumbersome to use. Always taking up way too much room in the cabinet as well as dishwasher. These are wonderfully perfect. I'm trying to decide whether to get a spare set!

Again, relying on the many positive reviews for this item, I got the set.
It was no disappoinment at all because even my husband likes it, he doesn't use our old set anymore. It's quite heavy though but I kinda like the weight & the way it feels when you hold it, something substantial that you know won't easily break.
