Ideal for stylish entertaining, this set of 16 matching glasses equips a bar to serve many cold drinks, from Scotch on the rocks to mint juleps. The set consists of eight tall, 18-ounce cooler glasses and eight short, 13-ounce double old-fashioned glasses in Libbey's contemporary Imperial pattern. Made of medium-thick glass, the glasses have slender, raised flutings that rise from the four corners of the bases. The 6-3/4-inch cooler glasses measure 2-7/8 inches in diameter at the tops, flare in the middle, and taper slightly to 2-1/8 inches square at the bottoms. The 2-5/8-inch double old-fashioned glasses measure 3-1/2 inches in diameter at the tops, also flare in the middle, and taper slightly to 2-3/4 inches square at the bottoms. These have almost the perfect weight to them. A little heavier would be better for my taste, but these are nice glasses.

Got these from our wedding registry and have used them for about the past 6 months since we moved into our house. 2 of the tall ones have broken as well as one of the short ones while my husband was washing dishes. Was going to replace them with the same style, but since breaking seems to be a problem with these per other reviews, I think I'll try another style. Too bad - I love the looks of them!

These are a bit too fragile for those who rush around in the kitchen or have teens. I bought these for my son to set up his first kitchen. He says the bottom of the glass is not smoothly flat so doesn't set well. He has broken a few.

I bought these glasses two years ago and they are still in great shape. I did have two of the larger ones and one smaller glass break but I expect glasses to break so that hasn't surprised me. I always wash them in the dishwasher which could explain why they broke because my dishwasher is old and does not clean well. Most loads have to be washed twice in order to be clean. So maybe they wouldn't break as much if I didn't have to wash them twice.
