GREAT DEAL!!! Awesome Set November 2, 2008

I purchased 8/25/08 and when I recieved it my first thought were "Wow what a Deal". This is a great deal on R&B S/S flatware set and for the total number of pieces you cannot bet the price. Amazon was great with the only problem I had with this set, after I washed in the dishwasher and was checking and counting the pieces I noticed one of the steak knives was missing so I immmediatly contacted Amazon and adviised Amazon they with no cost to me sent me a complete new set with a shipping return label for the set I had and all of this was at no cost to me, GREAT SERVICE!!! As for my set I have been using it everyday and washing in my dishwasher and as of date it stills looks like the day I got it "Beautiful"! If in need of a new S/S flatware set I highly reccommend this item and the design is awsome. I wanted a S/S set with teaspoons/parfait spoons which are very hard to find. R & B is one of the oldest names in the industry and their quality is superd! You absolutely cannot go wrong with this set!!!!!

This is the most complete Flatware set I have ever purchased. It comes with an incredible 16 piece serving set, including tongs and a spatula. It comes with a double set of knives, one serrated, one not. It comes with 3 different sizes of spoons, tea, soup and dessert. (I didn't even know there was such a thing as a dessert spoon!) The quality and style of the set is very nice and I know I'll be happily using it for family dinners for many years.

I purchased this set with a gift card that I received from work. There are 5 of us in our household and I needed something that had a LOT of silverware, especially when we have company! I saw this set and it looked perfect! When the box came it was extremely heavy. Everything was wrapped individually and it took us quite a while to get everything out of its packaging. I was very impressed with the beauty, weight, and quality right off the bat!
The sheer number of pieces was impressive! I had to move my silverware drawer to a larger one to accommodate all of it, and I don't think I have ever had a square cake server, either... My kids were thrilled to have soup spoons, too! Even they were excited about getting these, and kids are never easy to please.
The first wash in the dishwasher I found the rust spots on a few of the steak knives. I washed it off, and have not seen the spots since then. It must be some odd fluke of some kind. I have had this set for a month now, and they are heavily used, frequently washed, dropped, cooked with... You name it with three kids... They are still as beautiful as the day they came to us.
I absolutely love this set, and would highly recommend it to anyone. It is wonderful!

We,ve had our flatware for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier with it. My husband says there's a lot of ferrous metal in the knives which give it weight so we don't put them in the dishwasher. I've had no rust and am happy to dry them in exchange for so many serving pieces.

Have been extremely happy with this set. Read one of the reviews in reference to rust appearing on the pieces after placing in the dishwasher. I had the same problem with a much more expensive set only to find the rack in the dishwasher had rust on one of the wires. However, after many times through the dishwasher, I have not had any problems with this set.
It is elegant enough to use for a formal dinner party yet simple enough for everyday use. The pieces are heavy! And the extra serving pieces that come with it are wonderful. I don't think you can find a better set for the price. I would highly recommend this set.
