One of Pfaltzgraff's most popular dinnerware patterns, Naturewood is a delight for gardeners and nature lovers alike with its combination of botanicals, leaves, and gardening implements strewn across a soft, natural palette. Made out of sturdy, unbreakable acrylic, this 8-piece tumbler set safely serves drinks out on the patio in the yard, right among the natural elements that have inspired its design. The set includes four tall, 19-ounce tumblers and four 14-ounce old-fashioned-style tumblers, both with thick, sturdy bases that won't easily get knocked over. The clear acrylic sides are decorated with framed potted herbs amidst a swirl of leaves, bees, and flowers and framed between a plain and jeweled sage stripe. These tumblers are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning and coordinate with Melamine dinnerware and serving pieces (sold separately) also designed in the Naturewood pattern for outdoor dining. --Cristina Vaamonde

Very Disappointing Degradation in Appearance January 1, 2008

These tumblers started off looking quite nice, but now after less than a year of use (May - Dec 2007), they are starting to look pathetic. The plastic of each tumbler is showing dozens of tiny cracks, or crazing. (A previous set of plastic tumblers that these were purchased to replace took a decade to reach this level of deteriorization.) For what it's worth, I purchased three sets of these tumblers, and they're used only by my wife and myself except when we occasionally have guests, so they certainly have not been overused.
