I recently bought a pair of these curtains and I absolutely LOVE them. I just hung them last night and they are beautiful. They match my new furniture perfectly. I am planning on buying another pair for our bedroom and maybe even the study! I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I give them 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

Lightweight, silky style draping (not stiff),pretty good light blocking (not total), grommets are easy to slide on rod.

The curtains are awesome on so many levels. First off, I love the way they completely black out the light in our bedroom. For years, we lived in a bedroom that was always bright and never thought that a black out curtain could be made of such a quality fabric and color AND make day seem like night. So now sleeping in on weekends and holidays is sooo much easier. Also, the curtains open wide as the fabric folds nicely so I can see the view of the ocean from my window unlike my last set of drapes that gathered so much that the view was somewhat blocked. I completely recommend these curtains. Purchase them, you won't be disappointed, at least if these are your issues.

I'm a shift worker who usually works at night. I purchased the beige curtains because of the advertised blackout properties. 99.9% of all light? Not even close. Maybe 70% and that is generous. In direct sunlight the entire curtain glows. I've purchased non-blackout curtains that let less light through. I've seen dark screens that let less light through.
If you are looking for a blackout curtain, look elsewhere.

I bought these curtains for both the energy saving and black out properties. It is easier to comment on the blackout properties. IT works. I'm not sure how to judge the energy saving properties. I'll continue to monitor my bedroom temp and electric bill and see if there is a difference but I doubt it will create a significant difference that can be measured. My only complaint is that the material is cheap looking but I can't deduct too much for that, because it states very clearly the material is polyester. It'll do.
