I got this, for myself, for Christmas. We have three cats, two of which are long haired, and shed profusely.
We have tried using our regular vacuum, which is powerful, but the attachments didn't do a great job picking up fur. We tried about five different furniture covers, all of which, didn't do much for the decor.
I saw this online, and read the positive and negative reviews. After talking to my hubby, we decided to give it a try, and were not disappointed. These attachments really pick up the fur! Our downstairs is hardwood and our stairs are carpeted. The first few steps really pick up the fur. This does the job on both the furniture and the stairs.
The only complain we have is that the adapters (there are two), that are meant to fit these attachments to multiple vacuum hoses. We need to use both adapters, and they kept coming apart. My husband solved that by using a strong epoxy between the two adapters. It oozed out a little, and looked a little sloppy. So a piece of black electrical tape, wound around a few times, covered it nicely, and now the problem is solved.
WE LOVE OUR BISSEL PET PACK! No more furniture covers for us!

The various attachments work as advertised, but would be even better if adaptors for longer, non-Bissell-brand extension hoses were included. Also, a wider turbo-brush attachment would be nice.

I use this to vacuum dog hair off furniture, beds etc. Works very well. Better than a brush attachment or those pet attachments.
