this shapener dosnt give a better sharpen than a flat stone but then nothing else dose. however, it gives a very sharp edge and its is extreamly quick. I use the sharpener just before I use my cooking knives, a quick two or three swipes and its sharp and ready to go. i bought this product after trying it at my fater in-laws and we both love it. deffinatly good for more than the monye paid, the deffinition of good deal.

I received the Rada knives and sharpener set as a gift several years ago. At the time I had several knife sharpeners, including an electric one. I found the Rada sharpener to be easier to use and it does a great job on all of my knives.

Everyone loves my Rada knives. I have given several sets as gifts and always include a sharpener. It it a MUST have for any Rada knife owner. Easy to use, easy to store and works great! Usually 4 to 5 pulls through the sharpener gives it a "like new" edge. Great product and wouldn't be without one.
