With their laser-controlled edges and durable blades, Henckels Twin Signature knives deliver quality and precision without maxing out the budget. Twin Signature knives feature high-carbon stainless-steel blades that have been stamped from a single piece of metal and put through the patented Friodur ice-hardening process to ensure their strength. The edges are laser-controlled for consistency and sharpness, and each one is hand-honed during the production process. The polymer handles are ergonomically designed and offer a comfortable fit for mid-size or smaller hands. Three stainless-steel rivets secure the handle to the blade, and the full-tang construction (the stamped steel piece that runs the full length of the knife) ensures better handling and durability. The veggie cleaver was a gift for my father. He loved it! He saw how fast he could cut veggies for our meal. He was so happy. Its light and easy to use. Plus a great addition to his knife collection. He was very impressed with the knife.

This cleaver is of good quality, but the design of the blade is poor. Since the blade is curved, unlike the blade of a Chinese cleaver, it is not possible simply to chop without drawing the blade back and forth, even several times. Minching is out of the question.

Very sharp! Not much effort needed to chop boney parts of meat! I was unsure about what I was getting when I bought it but now I can assure you if you're looking for a cleaver that does the job and fits your budget, you MUST get this! Very very happy with my purchase.
