Nice Niche Knife September 19, 2008

A petite Santoku with pretty damascus markings (although you have to get close and catch the light to make out the pattern) and a 1/8" business-end edge. The blade is 5" and the handle is a bit over 4" with nice (balanced) heft for a light knife. I primarily use it to chop garlic - separation on firm fish flesh was so-so. Not a serious tool but I pull it out regularly so not bad either! Make a meal - it is what life is about.
