best Kitchen shears ever! November 19, 2008

I got these shears because it is a reputable brand and because i can take them apart to wash them in the dishwasher. Although I own mostly all Wuhstoff products, I had to go with the Messermeister shears over the wuhstoff due to the lenght and width of the scissors. They seemed to be more versatile. Not only was I impressed by the fact that they do not stain (like many of my other stainless steel sheers), but i was more impressed with how well they work for the many kitchen tasks I use them for. They are very sharp and are low maintenance. I have used them for cutting flower stems to cutting chicken bones. They work excellent and I still have not had to sharpen them after these last couple of years of regular use.

If you don't have kitchen shears or you have a pair that won't even cut through chicken bones, don't even hesitate to order these now. You will find yourself using these every day, from cutting up delicate herbs to spatchcocking a chicken for the grill. I love the thin blades because they can fit into some tight spaces, unlike those fat all-purpose scissors that are useless in the kitchen.
