The product description includes the statement: "magnetic stainless-steel exterior works on induction". This is totally false. All induction cooktops will reject this pan as being nonferrous metal. A magnet will not stick to it. This is NOT an All-Clad Stainless induction pan as the description might lead you to believe. My first impression when I took this out of the box was that it is not of the quality of my other American made All-Clad cookware.
