The 2-quart pan, 8 inches in diameter and 2-1/4 inches deep, is large enough to accommodate a chicken-and-mushroom dish on the stovetop under its domed lid. The pan can also go into the oven for slow cooking pot roast. To stir and serve, there's a 13-inch, dishwasher-safe solid spoon of polished 18/10 stainless steel. The handles on this pan stay cool on the stovetop, but for lifting the sauté pan's lid or grasping its handle from the oven, you might want to use the bright red quilted mitt that's included.
