Product Description
The easy to read measurement markings make this shot glass simple to use. You don't have to turn the glass to see whether you are at half or full oz. capacity, which saves time and aggravation.

4 out of 5 stars Looks fine...   December 12, 2007

It's just a shot glass, but looks and works fine (although logo is a bit large).

Bit too small for espresso though (although it looks sexy). I prefer my marked 1.5 oz shot glass that leaves a bit more room at the top for you to pick it up without burning your fingers.

5 out of 5 stars A very useful tool   April 6, 2007

This is a very useful shot glass as you can see. Use it for measuring cocktails or for drinking a shot of your favorite liquor. It is a very sturdy glass. I highly recommend.

5 out of 5 stars Beautiful Shot Glasses for Espresso, would probably hold tequilla as well.   March 10, 2006

Look at the picture. You've pretty much got the idea.

What you have here is your basic shot glass, with some nice, clean, understated 1/2 and 1 ounce lines. Printing seems of a high quality - has survived a few dozen runs through the dishwasher.

It's amazingly hard to find a shot glass that doesn't say "Jack Daniels" or have some other advertising on it. These look classy on my black and silver espresso machine.

5 out of 5 stars Classy, sturdy, perfect for intended use   February 27, 2006

As a previous reviewer has noted, these shot glasses will handily fulfill the purpose for which they were designed: measuring shots of alcohol. I purchased them to use with my espresso machine. Several espresso supply companies produce shot glasses with 1/4 oz. increments (and larger capacities), but they are too tall to fit under the portofilter of my La Spaziale S1. These stylish, heavy shot glasses are shorter than the type with the cut-glass base and were thus perfect for my use, in addition to looking very chic with my Italian machine.

5 out of 5 stars Measuring glass for the BAR   August 4, 2005

The previous reviewer was obviously looking for something that this glass is not. They wanted something to measure tablespoons and teaspoons? Completely useless at the bar, where you want ounce and half-ounce measurements. Adding extra measure marks would be pointless, and the marks are just going to get in the way.

Now, how does this compare to a standard double jigger? Well, obviously it's glass, instead of metal, so there is a chance that if you drop it it will break. And with the extra weight, and the lack of opposing end, the chances that you might drop it (especially when up-ending it to pour the ingredients into a shaker) are probably a little higher.

Still, I think these are minor concerns, and I do like the fact that you can use it then set it down on the counter without having to have one end upside down, dripping drink mixings onto your countertop.

When it comes down to it, this is a fine product, with all the usefulness of a double jigger. Prices of the two are comparable, and the differences are minor, so it really comes down to preference.
