I got the pesto spoon, but after some nervous experimentation I was delighted to find out that it works perfectly well for all manner of sauces, not just pesto. Once I realized that I felt a lot better about spending $8 (plus shipping) on a spoon.

I have been looking for a spoon spatula for a while now. The wooden handle on this is very thick and sturdy, and is contoured to fit nicely in your hand. This is a great tool, and it looks great in my kitchen!
