Here's one spatula you won't find melted up against the side of the stove. Heat-resistant to 500 degrees F, it's crafted from a sturdy silicone that won't scrape or scratch nonstick cooking surfaces. Its 7-1/2-inch handle allows better reach, and the 3-1/2-inch head is angled and flexible to help you extract every last drop of cake batter from the bowl. (Whatever you do, don't tell the kids you'll be using it; they might go on strike.) The KitchenAid logo even doubles as a spatula rest, so you can place the spatula up against the rim of a bowl without it sliding into the goo. The tool is dishwasher-safe for quick cleanup, and a hole in the end provides convenient hanging storage. This size, even in pink, works for small to large mixing and cooking jobs. The spatula head is not too small, and the handle makes it really easy to use. Yes, I am a huge fan of KitchenAid spatulas with this handle. Durability and easy to use--those are the most important.
