The head features two different angled edges so chefs can maneuver the spatula into the rounded sides of a skillet or the corners of a baking pan. Zyliss crafted the spatula using the newest technology, including high-grade silicone for durability. I love this spatula. It scoops and scrapes great. The handle is sturdy plastic, shaped to feel great in the hand, and it's not too heavy. I like that the head is made of silicone, which is heat resistant and dishwasher safe. No more sticky spatulas. However, this one is expensive. I was a little stunned at the $7.95 price tag, but I am tired of always replacing the cheap ones, so I thought I would give this one a try. I am glad that I did. Highly recommend.

This item was recommended by the Food Network. It is light weight and easy to clean. The quality of the silicone is very high. There has been no melting or burning of the head when I sautee or stir-fry...which is really cool! The only downside to this item is that the "spoon" is not really a variable.

As I am replaceing all my cookwear I needed a Silicone Spoon. This one fits the bill, it is just the right size.

The model 71385 is the spoon spatula, the all-purpose is 71383; if you order before Amazon fixes this, you'll get the spoon.

I have tried to get the "All Purpose Spatula" twice and Amazon has sent me a spoon/spatula which is completely different and doesn't match this description.
