5 out of 5 stars Worth every penny   January 11, 2007
J. Riley (Vermont)
These baking sheets are usually $20-25 in an upscale kitchen store, so this was beyond a bargain. A few things to be careful of for longevity: do not cut anything on the liner, do not use in an oven hotter than 400 degrees and do not let the edges flop over a pan that is too small to accomdate. If you follow these simple suggestions, it should give you literally years of wear - I just threw my 5 year old pan liner out!

5 out of 5 stars This is the best product for anyone who bakes   December 21, 2006

I see another reviewer posted comments 3 years ago - and I concur 100%.
Why aren't these more popular? Easier to find? I am giving them to every friend and relative for Christmas, including 2 children who are professional cooks. I can't imagine baking without them. They are little kitchen miracles. I never have been able to get into silpat - just the aesthetics of it - so I can't compare functionality. But when you love something as much as I love Super Parchment, why would you consider anything else?

5 out of 5 stars Better than Silpat   November 21, 2005

These are super easy to use. They are soft and flexible-unlike Silpat. A big plus is that they can be cut to fit round or odd shaped pans.

5 out of 5 stars excellent, low cost alternative to Silpat silicone pan liners   November 15, 2003

I'm a very accomplished home baker, and I've used my Super Parchment resuable pan liners for over 5 years now. I LOVE them. I used them even before I had ever heard of the Silpat silicone liners, and I like them better. Not only are they about 1/4 the cost, but they work beautifully, clean up easily, and they roll right up into a very small diameter and can be tucked away in little space. The Silpats are a much heavier, almost rubbery product. I know they work well too, but they are nearly $20 apiece, and at about $6, you can easily afford 2 or 3 of the Super Parchment. Also, unlike the Silpats, you can cut the Super Parchment to fit any pan size you may have (up to 13" by 17"). I won't consider making cookies without them. They even release almond macaroons with no difficulty, and anyone who bakes those knows how difficult they can be to get off the pan. I've used parchment paper too, and still do for some things, but I simply do not understand why it isn't easier to find Super Parchment, and why more folks don't write about it. Do not hesitate to treat yourself to these liners. You won't be sorry! They also make a nice way to line the cookie sheet you put under a baking pie. It truly makes cleaning up the drips no trouble at all. I am securely attached to these liners, and I know you will be too, once you give them a try.
