This item broke (handle snapped right at the hinge) the second time I used it. I'm not so strong that I should be able to break such a device (and what good is a squeezer you can't squeeze?). I also found that the receiver was a little small -- normal-sized limes were a bit bigger than the receiver. Looks like I'll be ordering a different model, as this isn't worth returning.

Oh please, the Imusa Lime Squeezer has to be the number one piece of junk I've bought all year! The handle snapped in half on the first use, quite literally, the first squeeze! I was a bit weary of purchasing a squeezer constructed of plastic, as I felt it wouldn't be durable enough, so I decided on a squeezer made of metal. The description states "sturdy construction", which I found to be quite inaccurate. It's constructed from cheap pot metal, sometimes referred to as white metal, not cast aluminum as described in the item description. The description also stated "ideal for squeezing limes and lemons", in which case, your lemons would need to be very small. I also purchased the Imusa Lemon Squeezer the same day, but don't think I'll risk cutting my hand on another broken handle. At a couple of bucks, it just wasn't worth sending it back for a refund, so it's back to my search for a worthy lime squeezer.

Pretty simple, it works great. Now I need to get the lemon sized squeezer because I made the mistake of thinking these were for limes OR lemons. The lemon squeezer is larger.
