I knew as soon as I opened the box there was a problem. The thing was broken and after looking at it I could see why. There are just two small spot welds that hold the spoon part to the handle. This thing would not scoop water let alone ice cream.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BUY ANOTHER BRAND! It's been 7 weeks and I still haven't got my refund.

The first time I tried to scoop hard ice cream, the scoop snapped right off! Very weak design--don't buy it.
