Product Description Removing corn kernels from cobs has never been easier. The OXO Good Grips Corn Stripper features a container that catches the kernels as they are stripped from the cob. Simply push the Corn Stripper down the length of the cob and the kernels collect in a convenient -cup capacity container. Turn the cob and continue stripping until all kernels are removed. Kernels can be poured out of the top hole of the container into a bowl or onto a plate. The soft, non-slip grips cushion your hand during use and the stainless steel blade will not rust or dull. The Corn Stripper comes apart for easy cleaning and all parts are dishwasher safe. Soft, non-slip grips Dishwasher safe

Corn-off-the-cob the fast and easy way! September 29, 2008 D. Walton The Oxo corn stripper made short work of my leftover grilled corn-on-the-cob. It was a quick and neat way to get corn off the cob and into freezer bags so we can enjoy it this winter. Other than a minor nick to a finger that got in the way, this tool did a wonderful job, and I would recommend it. Just keep those fingers out of the way!
Take it from this Southern Boy and current Illinois resident!!! September 17, 2008 Michael Smith (Chicago, IL) Born and raised int he south, corn is somewhat of a Summertime obsession for me. Now that I live in Illinois, its even more so. I bought this item because of all the splatter and mess that comes with using a knife or mandolin to remove kernels from the cob. Once again OXO comes through with a wonderfully simple and efficient product. There is still some splatter, but I don't have to wash down the walls and floor when I'm done. Four strokes down a cob and all kernels are off! The first time I used it I was actually speechless for a moment. Surely it couldn't be THAT easy, can it? Well, it is! A great kitchen gadget and okay, its a unitasker, but its one I can live with. Do be careful of the blades though, they are sharp!
Corn Stripper September 8, 2008 sara bentley (Bedford,NH USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't know how I managed with out the corn stripper. It is fast easy to use. There is very little clean up. I would suggest placing the corn stripper in the middle of the cob and running the stripper to each end. Using a large bowl to strip the corn and empty the corn into makes clean-up alot easier. I will never go back to using a knife again.

Best deal I ever got on a "stripper"!!! Seriously, this is the cat's meow when it comes to removing corn from the cob for frying or cassaroles! Very little effort and big results. Can't beat the price either. Buy one for your chef...you can't go wrong!
Not working as well as I'd hoped September 5, 2008 NuJoi (Chicago, IL United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wish I could use this product as well as the user in the video. This person is even better than the chick on the Williams-Sonoma video. I purchased this product because I have braces and can't eat corn on the cob. (This is a tragedy when you live in IL during the summer.) After a few attempts, I just can't get it to work properly. I have small hands, which may be part of the problem. The unit comes apart when I try to use it, but when I try to clean it, it's hard to get it to come apart. I'm not above admitting user error in either case. I'm going to keep at it and if things get better, I'll revise my review.
