Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This stainless steel pastry blender has a soft, comfortable santoprene rubber handle that allows for a stronger grip while preventing hand fatigue and cramping. The pastry blender's five blades cut through butter and shortening with ease. The high-quality handle provides a soft-touch, non-slip surface even when wet, is resistant to perspiration, oil, and chemicals, and will remain flexible at cold temperatures yet firm at high temperatures.
18/10 stainless steel with santoprene rubber handle. Dishwasher safe.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars pastry blender   May 27, 2008

I purchased the pastry blender for a gift. I have one just like it and I would not be without it. Not only is it useful in making pastry, there are other uses such as chopping hardcooked eggs.

I bought this in November--by December it was already broken and useless. It's not like I was using it in a commercial setting! I made about four pies before the handle began to turn. The screws move, making it difficult and uncomforable to use. It's poor preformance is the reason I'm back on amazon, looking for a new one. Don't bother with this cheap thing!

The blender itself would be fine expcept the handle keep comeing apart every time I use it. The screws rotate with pressure and it comes apart when using.
