Classically tall and narrow to slow evaporation, this 12-quart pot is ideal for simmering soups and stocks, poaching poultry, cooking pasta, and making party foods, such as chili, when the house is rife with talk and appetite. Revere's Tri-Ply cookware is made of handsome, mirror-finish, 18/10 stainless steel. Each pot or pan has an aluminum disk in its bottom to spread heat quickly and evenly. The disk is sandwiched between layers of stainless steel, so the exterior finish is still ideal for easy cleanup. This pot carries a 25-year warranty against defects and should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

I have two of these. The 15 year old pot is heavier and has a better surface. This new pot just isn't as nice. I wish I had bought the $30 knockoff at the outlet store.
