5 out of 5 stars Le Creuset Cookware   April 3, 2007

I have almost the whole set of this cookware. I love it! It is easy to use and clean. It is also a very safe and healthy choice in cookware. If taken care when cleaning to follow the makers guidlines this cookware will last a life time. I do wish that all the fry pans came with the non-stick surface that the omelette pan has. But after getting use to heating the pan in advance before adding the food I have easily mastered the use of those as well. I would reccomend this cookware line to everyone!!!

2 out of 5 stars Great size but not great coating   February 23, 2007

I've had this pan for 6 years and I love the size of it but like many other reviewers have said, the non-stick coating started peeling and flaking very early. Mine is so bad I have to throw it away which pains me. The lady at the Le Crecet store told me I probably have cooked at too high a temperature on it which made it peel.Who knew? I recommend that Le Creucet stick to enamal coating which is great.

1 out of 5 stars Le Creuset is wonderful but not their non stick items!   February 23, 2006

I love, love, love, love my Le Creuset, so imagine my disappointment when this lovely pan flaked so very easily. As far as non-stick pans go, next time I'll stick with the cheap Wal-Mart pans instead. Now for everything else, Le Creuset just can't be beat. They should really stick to making the enameled pans.

I loved my pan for the evenness in cooking but the coating started flaking off too. I never put it in the dishwasher and now I really want to buy another pan but I am hesitant due to the same problem happening again.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect little pan   February 16, 2002

This pan is wonderful for almost anything. I've made eggs, sausage, and bacon in it so far, and it's done everything perfectly. I also made pancakes in it this morning, and it gets so hot it only took about 10 seconds on each side to cook them to a beautiful golden brown. And after I was finished, it didn't even look like it had been used! This is the only non-stick coating that I have ever seen really live up to it's name. If you've never used le creuset before, just remember to never let it sit on the burner empty, never put cold water in it until it's cooled off, and be careful, because it cooks hotter than most pans you're used to. Definitely buy this pan!
