Cheap and cheap December 1, 2008

Yes, it's an inexpensive grinder, so I didn't expect much but I expected more than this. Admittedly it's a pretty machine, it's got good weight and the body feels sturdy. Unfortunately, on the third or fourth grind the cheap little red on/off button got jammed in the on position and now it won't work. Or rather it still works but I have to unplug it to stop it. I like Bodum, they design nice looking things - that's why I bought this. but if it won't even last a week of average use then forget it - the above average aesthetic isn't worth it. I definitely do not recommend buying this grinder, and I'm on the verge of not buying Bodum again.
