Yummy! September 20, 2008 Tito (Double Inn Cedar IA) I love it. It reminds me of sitting in Spain. I have had several high priced espresso machines-two I gave away, one I threw away (coffee/espresso machine-it sounded too good to be true. . .and it was) and one I save for company. This gives you that strong, strong espresso that is between liquid and solid-heaven! A little frothed milk and it is a dream. I don't think you can get a better cup. In the first week, it paid for itself in the money I was spending in buying mochas out. Love having a cup in the morning and one at night. . .decadent? yep. Soo easy to use. I love frothing the milk while the espresso brews and mixing. Some have said nuke it; but, as I grow older, I neither like anything too hot or too cold. I think the temperature is perfect with frothed milk right from the fridge, a pinch of chocolate and a little nutmeg. Add the espresso and makes two very large mochas. I can't wait for morning to have another.
Works ok, but NOT made in Italy September 16, 2008 Fiddler (Decatur, GA USA) Bialetti apparently contracts this item out to India and is marked on on the box with an add-on sticker. The unit works ok, but the workman ship is shoddy with filed welds showing and low quality plastic handles.
Not so great August 28, 2008 Susan Swan (Sunnyvale, CA United States) I've owned several stove top espresso machines. I find this one is hard to screw closed properly and therefore doesn't make a full pop of coffee. The coffee it makes is okay, but not wonderful.
great little pot!!! August 23, 2008 T. L. jackson (cali) using this for a week and am totally hooked! Easy to use and clean and I've never had a better cup of espresso!
A nice, stylish, and well-made maker. July 31, 2008 Red Badge Nice looking, all stainless construction, reasonably-priced, and decent espresso. If I would take more time and heat it up more slowly I could probably make it even better, and end up with crema on top. I guess that's the big difference between this little pot and my friend's $2,000+ Jura. I have to do all the work. I can live with that. I had an aluminum pot at one time, but it got all grody on the inside. I like the stainless. I agree with the comments that the six-cup model can only make six really, really small cups. That's why they make espresso cups so small, and don't fill them but maybe half-full. Of course, if you use a six-cup to make two cups you're going to have some pretty wired guests . . .
