The German company WMF works with top European designers to create kitchen products that innovatively marry style with function. German firm Fiedeler & Raasch designed this bar strainer for the company's Loft collection. This is one strainer that doesn't need to be hidden away and pulled out at the last minute. Made from high quality 18/10 stainless steel, the strainer is broader than most and is almost playful in appearance. A contoured tongue serves as a handle while different size holes add pizzazz. A flexible coil keeps ice out of drinks. Dishwasher-safe, the 4-by-6-1/4-inch strainer fits perfectly on Loft cocktail shakers and matches the full collection of stainless-steel bar utensils. --Ann Bieri

I have had this for over a year now, and love it. It feels great in the hand, and has a great look to it. Feels very solid. I may drill a small hole at the top of the handle to make it "hangable". If you are looking for a bar strainer, look no further. This is it. I examined the Oxo at a store, and just found it lacking the style this one possesses.

This strainer along with the WMF Boston Cocktail Shaker make a GREAT set. A little "pricie" but worth the extra. You can shake up a cool refreshing Mojito on a hot summer day.
