I really really like this casserole pot. It is a beautiful earthen color (I bought the brown one), it looks expensive and is a good weight. I use it to serve foods such as soup, stew, and other dishes. I can bake or warm up food in the oven with this and bring it straight to the table. It arrived from amazon in protective wrapping and there were no blemishes or broken parts when I received it. Glazing was consistent and smooth, no chips or cracks. The only thing that I wish I could do with it is to heat it on a gas stove top. There are no instructions so I don't know if it is safe for use on the stove top, but since it's such a beautiful pot, I don't want to risk ruining it. If anyone has tried using this on a stove top, please leave a comment to let me know if it works!

We bought the sango nova brown dinner settings about a year ago and love the color but I had no serving pieces. This one is absolutely beautiful. Great size and well...you just need to make this investment if you are looking to compliment your dinner service.

I have the whole set in Black and am extremely happy with the quality of all the pieces. This casserole is a great addition - bakes well and does fine in the dishwasher... plus looks nice on the table! If you're thinking about the set, go for it. Oh. One more thing. I've had no problems at all with broken or cracked dishes. All have arrived 100% perfect. Overall, the set looks and feels much more expensive than it actually is!
